Wake up, Rosenblum Hall. Wake up.

Four more. Four more bodies. Four more gone.

All of you wake up Sunday with the knowledge that things are going to keep on like this, but you also know that there has to be something you can do about it. The Headmistress can bleed, and the Headmistress can lose control. One way or another, there's something in your gut that tells you that the routine will end soon enough. What else can she throw at you?

There's a second feeling that creeps in, though: the thought that you may have done this before. And if you've done this before... how are you here? Why are you here? Is it just a curse, a twisted form of fate?

One more of the tunnel gates has opened, allowing you access to your last full area. There may not be much there, but there is at least something, right?

[Hands on her hips, scowling up at Hawke with a vaguely queasy look, an expression reminiscent to a mom who's lost her kid at the mall only for them to turn up fine.]

[Okay, now she looks a little bit sheepish.]

At least yeet a bag of chips at me if this goes on longer than an hour.

[She sighs, breath fluttering her bangs.]

You're asking me to throw?

[She'll do it, which is the worst part. You say "jump" and Mariko says "that's very high" (does it anyway).]

You’re not going to give her a black eye too, are you?

[rednails]

[Bombastic side-eye.]

[Criminally offensive side eye!]

Mariko, [Her voice is dripping with put-upon scandal.] Are you saying you, a strong young woman, aren't capable of tossing a snack up here to me?

[rednails]

I-- [Why is she??? Flustered by that??] Are you negging me?

I'm just reminding you that you're strong and independent and powerful and physically able to throw a bag of something weighing less than a few ounces several feet in the air if the need arises.

[this is encouragement! kind of! but mostly it's teasing.]

[rednails]

[She looks flattered and put-off at the same time. And because I love comedy I'm just doing this now.

Mariko leaves and comes back with a bag of legally distinct Sun Chips.]

Heads up!

[This is what the people say when she's watching sports from the bushes like a normal person. Therefore she will say it.

She jerks her hand back once like she's about to throw and then-- she flings it. It barely gets 3/4 of the way up to Hawke before it "fwap"s back onto the ground.]
